OUR STANDARDS

Editorial Policy

The standards AgentField uses to research, review, update, and monetize its coverage.

Last updated: August 24, 2026

Our aim: Help developers and technical decision-makers choose useful tools, understand tradeoffs, and reduce security risk. Revenue supports the site, but it does not buy a favorable conclusion.

What we cover

AgentField focuses on AI agents, AI coding and developer tools, agent infrastructure, AI security, and DevSecOps. We prioritize questions that help readers make a purchase, architecture, workflow, or risk decision.

Research and sourcing

We prefer primary sources such as official documentation, product changelogs, security advisories, standards, research papers, regulatory guidance, source code, and direct testing. Secondary reporting may provide context, but it should not be the sole support for a material product, pricing, or security claim.

Time-sensitive facts—including prices, plan limits, availability, product capabilities, and affiliate terms—are checked close to publication. Relevant articles display publication or update dates, and fact-check dates may be shown when appropriate.

Reviews and comparisons

Review criteria vary by product category but commonly include usefulness, setup experience, reliability, integration depth, security boundaries, privacy and data handling, pricing clarity, support, and best-fit user. We distinguish hands-on observations from vendor claims and clearly state when we have not tested a feature ourselves.

Comparisons should present meaningful limitations and identify which users may be better served by another product. A “best” designation means best under the stated criteria, not best for every reader.

Accuracy and non-deceptive presentation

Headlines, summaries, rankings, badges, calls to action, and social previews should accurately reflect the supporting article. We do not intentionally omit a material limitation, commercial relationship, test condition, or eligibility requirement when that omission could change a reasonable reader's decision.

Objective claims require appropriate evidence. Vendor claims are attributed to the vendor unless independently verified. Estimates, forecasts, opinions, and inferences are identified as such. We do not describe a product as tested, secure, free, discounted, certified, guaranteed, or the “best” unless the article explains the relevant basis, scope, conditions, and date.

Price comparisons use comparable plans and billing periods where practical. Limited-time offers, credit-based referrals, and “starting at” prices are not presented as generally available savings. Competitors are evaluated using materially consistent criteria, and affiliate availability is not itself a scoring factor.

Security coverage

Security claims receive additional scrutiny. We avoid presenting a sandbox, permission prompt, model safeguard, certification, or marketing label as a complete security guarantee. Coverage should identify assumptions, trust boundaries, likely failure modes, and practical mitigations.

AgentField does not publish operational details that would create an unreasonable risk of harm without a clear public-interest justification and appropriate review.

Use of AI

AI tools may assist with research organization, outlining, drafting, code, editing, or identifying questions for further investigation. AI output is not treated as a source. Public articles require human review, source verification, and an editorial decision before publication. We do not intentionally publish fully automated, unreviewed articles.

Affiliate relationships and free access

AgentField may earn money or receive another benefit through affiliate links, referrals, sponsorships, free product access, or evaluation credits. Material relationships are disclosed. They do not guarantee coverage or a positive recommendation. See the Affiliate Disclosure.

Sponsored content

If AgentField accepts sponsored content in the future, it will be labeled clearly and kept distinguishable from independent editorial coverage. A sponsor will not be permitted to present advertising as an independent review.

Corrections and updates

When a material error is confirmed, we aim to correct it promptly. Significant corrections or changes to a recommendation should be explained in the article when context would help readers. Minor spelling, formatting, and clarity edits may be made without a correction note.

Correction requests can be sent to privacy@agent-field.com with the article URL, the disputed statement, and supporting primary sources where available.
